Johnny Damon is an American professional baseball player. An outfielder, he played for the Kansas City Royals, the Oakland Athletics, the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees, the Detroit Tigers, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Johnny is the son of Yome and Jimmy David Damon, a staff sergant in the U.S. Army. He is married to Michelle Mangan. He has two children with his former wife Angela Vannice; and six children with Michelle.

Johnny’s paternal grandfather was James Louis “Jim” Damon (the son of Archibald C. “Archy”/”Archie” Damon and Nellie/Millie Luvinda Billips). Archibald was the son of James G. Damon and Martha Jane. Millie was the daughter of Gideon Lewis Billips and Levisa Murdock/Murdick.
