Max Verstappen, the reigning F1 world champion, has a global presence and is often a point of discussion among various sports pundits/analysts. While they are majorly from the F1 community, for a change, the former NFL star turned sports analyst, Pat McAfee, has also recently taken the time to talk about the Dutchman.

Max Verstappen proved ultra-dominant last year and has kicked off this year’s season in the same fashion. While the sport is currently at a halt with the Australian GP weekend quite a few days away, Pat McAfee has made the rounds on the web for mispronouncing Verstappen’s name on purpose.

On his famous ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ he was in a conversation with NASCAR star, Kyle Busch and an ESPN analyst, and it was during this time that McAfee called the 26-year-old,

Moreover, beyond that, he took the time to dwell on the Red Bull driver’s dominance in F1. Verstappen dominated 2023 and the way the first two races of this year have panned, he is on course to do the same during the ongoing campaign.

Max Verstappen is helping Sergio Perez perform in 2024

While Max Verstappen has got the whole world talking about him, the Red Bull team adviser, Helmut Marko has revealed that the former is helping Sergio Perez in performing better. The Mexican driver has amassed two second-place finishes in the first two races.

This year he is no longer experimenting, but is starting with more or less the same basic set-up as Max.

Marko has made it quite clear that Perez is benefiting immensely from using the same setup as Verstappen in races this year. However, the 34-year-old still lacks in terms of race pace and one-lap pace in comparison to his teammate.

Perez finished the Saudi Arabian GP 13 seconds behind Verstappen. Keeping in view everything that has been discussed, it will be fascinating to see how the former would fare against the Dutchman at the upcoming Australian GP weekend.
